Life Missions exists to be the means by which we do just that, both locally and globally. We engage and equip our people to Pray, Give, and Go because we are convinced that world change will happen as God works in and through us.
MISSIONARY SUPPORT
FAITH PROMISE
Life Church Springfield faithfully supports over 50 missionaries and missions
agencies both locally and globally as they proclaim the good news of Jesus, transforming
communities and nations all over the world.
This is done through financial support, encouragement, partnership, and most
importantly, prayer.
There
are also many local ministries we have formed partnerships in
order to utilize combined resources to help further the spread of the
gospel. These ministries are based in the Greater Philadelphia Area and
are doing strategic things to impact our city for Christ.

short-term mission trips
1-2 week foreign mission trips
Life Church equips teams of 8-15 people to go and serve missionaries for 1-2 week trips around the
globe. Preparations for these mission trips begin 4-6 months before departure.
Over the past ten years, we have served in nations like Mexico, Namibia,
Guatemala, Peru, and Ecuador.
In 2017, a team of nine traveled to Tijuana, Mexico, to help construction on a feeding center. In 2019, a team spent two weeks building churches in the to the Amazon jungle of Peru. In 2022 and 2023, the team helped with construction a youth camp in Yurimaguas, Peru.

Speed the light
(YOUTH GROUP)
The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the "essential transportation and creative communication" equipment for missionary evangelism. Through modern transportation, radio, television, print, audio, and digital equipment, our missionaries can help make Jesus known.
Speed the Light is the student-initiated, volunteer, charitable program that provides much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world.
Alive Student Ministries hold various fund-raising activities in order to provide funds to Speed-The-Light, including car washes, pancake breakfasts, and coin cans.

Why not harness the energy and enthusiasm of Super Bowl weekend, a time when people come together for football, food and fun, to unite the nation for a higher good? Individuals and groups could collect dollars in soup pots and canned food for those in need and send every dollar and food donation DIRECTLY to a local charity of THEIR choice.
Since 1990 over $193 MILLION in dollars and food has been generated while benefiting thousands of soup kitchens, food banks, meal programs and other hunger-relief charities in local communities.

BGMC
KIDS MINISTRY
BGMC is the AG missions program for kids that instills a heart of compassion to reach the lost through praying, giving, and going. All funds raised through BGMC go to meet critical needs around the world such as feeding programs, water wells, Bible schools, curriculum, and whatever else a missionary needs in their part of the world.
Each month the Powerzone class interrupts the main church service for a "shake-down", collecting change (and bills) to give to the BGMC cause. The children learn about what missionaries are doing around the world, and how they can directly contribute to spreading the gospel.
